Auythaya day tour

Ayutthaya (about 100 km north of Bangkok) was the last capital of Siam. Before being sacked by the Burmese army (at the end of the eighteenth century), Ayutthaya was a glorious city, the most important in South East Asia. During its Golden Age, (Seventeenth century), Ayutthaya had even diplomatic and commercial relations with some important kingdoms like Japan, Portugal or France.
The famous king of France, Louis the Fourteenth welcomed ambassadors of Siam in Versailles, whilst French envoys settled down in Ayutthaya. During the whole day, you will visit the most significant ruins of the old prestigious city of Ayutthaya and will learn a page of Siam history.
Ayutthaya was registered in the list of World Heritage Monuments by UNESCO and is one of the most outstanding historical sites to visit in the close surrounding of Bangkok.
